Mmm... I grew up on the beach. I would like to go back there.

[Still very pouty. Thankfully, he's being thawed in here, though when he's drunk he often gets that bone-deep chill that takes a long time to pass.]

[ He has some wood stacks to move and he wouldn't say no to help.

A sideways glance later and he's not sure how much Fabian's got in him tonight for much of anything else. Probably just bed and dealing with whatever hangover shows up tomorrow. ]

Right now you seem like you need to sleep, though.

[ They're just up the road from Alyson's house. Soon enough he's pulling onto the drive and killing the engine, looking across at Fabian in the dark. ]

How quiet are you gonna be?

My muscles... Which muscles would those be?

[A small smile pulls at his lip as he tries half-heartedly for innuendo, but his eyes are closed, and his tone is detached and dreamy. So, correct, it does seem like he needs to sleep.]

Soooo quiet... I told you... Smallest mouse of all time... Ant-sized mouse...

[ Tyler is laughing though in the quiet, dark warmth of the truck cab. He does poke Fabian's shoulder for good measure and then hops out when he's satisfied Fabian thinks he'll be quiet as a mouse.

Through sheer will of wanting to get back to bed himself, Tyler harasses the other man as quietly as possible through the house, discarding coat, boots and then bundling Fabian towards the bed he's just gotten out of not 15 minutes earlier.

At least the bedroom door is shut now. Though whether he'll have to apologize to Alyson tomorrow for any noise is up in the air. ]

Get your ass into bed.

[ He's already in his PJs - just a simple pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. Socks still on. ]

[Fabian groans as he stumbles out of the truck into the cold, frowning the whole way into the house. He does focus hard on being quiet, and he's oddly good at it. Probably because he's had a lot of practice, and his dexterity is so high when he's not drunk that some of it manages to carry over. Getting his boots off is the hardest part, and that's the only time he stumbles a bit, catching himself on the wall.

He follows Tyler closely, closer than is really necessary.

He doesn't need to be told twice to get into bed, and he rather likes being bossed around like that. He discards his own jacket and takes off his belt before collapsing into the bed and wiggling under the covers, exhaling another shiver and seeking out Tyler's body heat.]

I think I'm going to die, Tyler... [He whispers. Melodrama.] Save me.

[ It's not surprising they end up a tangle of limbs, especially since Tyler actually tries to get comfortable and then gives up as Fabian chases every scrap of body heat he can find. The cold seeps though Tyler's pajamas and he shivers briefly before tamping down the edges of his blankets. ]

You're gonna die if you don't stop talking and go to sleep.

[ Not really a sharp statement but Tyler was ready for sleep before the excursion into town to pick up this drunk dummy. ]

Saving you... from yourself.

[Fabian's arms wrap around the smaller man's waist reflexively, drawing him close, his chin curling around his shoulder.]

Are you threatening me?

[Still whispering. He sounds maybe a bit excited at the prospect.]

[He sighs dreamily. But then, he gets closer to Tyler's ear, and his tone comes above a whisper, to a low, suggestive murmur.]

Do not act like I forced you... You could have ignored me. I'm a grown man, I'd have found my way.

[Tyler could have told him to fuck off and sent him the address of a hotel. But he didn't. He went out of his way to come get him and bring him here, into his bed.]

[ The low, suggestive murmur against his ear does the opposite of lulling him into a relaxed slumber. Instead a thread of heat works through him right to his core and he shivers again, this time not because he's cold.

Still, he's stubborn enough to pretend like he's not already getting turned on just from the other man's proximity and voice. ]

[ That answer is sharper an more urgent, Tyler squirming against Fabian like if he stops somebody might die. And Fabian's not wrong at all. Tyler did and does want the man in his bed. ]

[Fabian's brows lift at that response, and his grin opens, unnaturally white canine teeth gleaming in the dark.]

Well, that was a quick change of tune.

[The urge to take him aggressively is there, but he thinks Tyler deserves a little more teasing, for his stubbornness. He moves in a little closer, taking Tyler's earlobe between his teeth, flicking at it with his tongue as he nips it. At the same time, his hand travels up toward the smaller man's sternum.]

[ Despite his body aching for more, Tyler does manage to huff out a laugh and Fabian's commentary. He's stubborn but when it suits him he can get with the program.

Fabian's hands are warming up enough at least that they're not so cold against his skin. And he's resting the urge to push himself into those touches desperately. ]

If you're gonna keep me up, better make it good.

But Fabian cannot shy away from a challenge, which is likely exactly what his bedmate wanted; to goad him so as not to have to admit how much he wants this.
